We are planning a Course Maintenance day on Monday 7th September, the Greens Team (Steve Crooke, Dave Palmer) will update us with further details soon, and as with every maintenance day, volunteers are sought from within the membership so if you wish to lend a hand please let them know, even if it is just for an hour or two.
The bar at the club has been re-open for a while now, and in general I think everything has been working really well, so many thanks from me to you all for adhering to the restrictions in place. We all must stay sharp on the reasons why the restrictions there, they are keeping members, guests and the bar team safe and enabling us to relax after playing for a well earned beverage so please please keep up the good work and follow the guidelines.
Thanks all and I look forward to seeing you on the course soon (or under a brolly on the deck if wet),
Would just like to say a big thank you, especially to the staff & volunteers, but also the members & visitors for all their efforts and sticking to the new rules in these strange times. The bar is open until 6.30 tomorrow. If you've not been up for a while please read and observe the signs and advice. #staysafe
In line with current government guidance we are re-opening the bar on Saturday 4th July.
It will open from 10am and will close at 4pm. We will update you going forwards on opening times as we get used to these new procedures and circumstances.
We realise this has been something that many of you have been looking forward to for some time, our golf club has a strong social aspect to it; but our main priority is to keep all members, visitors and the bar team safe.
With that in mind please read and digest the below points, they are imperative to ensuring that we can remain open and offering a bar service to you.
Please read and adhere to all signage.
Please maintain Social distancing.
The changing rooms remain closed, please continue to change in your car, the toilets will be available on a one in/one out basis.
Hand Sanitiser is attached to various walls, please use it.
Inside seating will only be used in inclement weather - the outside seating is limited to ensure social distancing. During busier times there may be a maximum time limit for these to ensure that these facilities are available to all.
Bar area is one in/one out, drinks to be ordered at the end of the bar where the screen is and should be taken to your table immediately.
Empty glasses are to be left on the table by the patio doors on the decking.
Please do not move the tables or chairs.
The bar team are there to keep you safe in addition to providing the bar service, they will remind of you of any aspect of the guidance should you require any clarification.
It seems likely that as we gain experience from operating within the restrictions that something may require adjusting, we will ensure that any amendments are communicated to you all.
Huge thanks to all who have been involved in putting various action points in place to enable us to re-open and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
